Atheism v. Christianity. Empty Atheism v. Christianity.

Post by Duke Thu Jun 28, 2007 1:42 am

I am a simple Person.

Weak people need large quanties of text to convey their point, i don't, in everything their is 1 truth.

The world is a system of cause and effect relationships, i throw a rock at your head - it hits you, my head itches - i scratch it.

~ so, the UNIVERSE IS, just IS. (do you see the inconsistency)

So following that equation. (insert explanation) happens - the universe is.

In my explanation of the Universe, that Catalyst. I find God.

Albert Eienstien once said. (basically) the world is a chain of causes and effects, in the start of the universe, i find divine catalyst.

Thats my two cents.

Dookie Out. (Robert if you flame me 3 pages, i will blowjob you like last time)

(Maybe it was because I am slow)

I did not understand anything you just said.

What does this have to do with Atheism and Christianity? Unless YOU are looking at it in an Atheistic viewpoint. Go ahead and admit what you are.

Post by Duke Fri Jun 29, 2007 11:35 pm

i basically just justified in a very simplistic manner the reason for which i search for a divine power in life.

but thanks for actually responding, i guess everyone else's room-temperature iq's aren't powerful enough to handle what i just said.

(i know that green can, and that robert will pretend to).

Lol, I still don't get it, and I still don't know what it has to do with atheism and christianity.

Oh wait, do you mean that you look at the divinity in a scientific, reasonable way? But you understand that there is something out there that is divine right?

I think I am acting like robert here.

Duke is full of crap. What he calls the catalyst is what atheists call the big bang. So in other words, he's atheist. He's taking a scientific stand on the matter which of course is what atheism does. You can't look at divinity in a scientific way, or it wouldn't be called divinity! And yes... what does the topic have to do with Atheism vs. Christianity?

Well, what I find even more amazing is Nappy's argument.....
So are you, Duke, declaring yourself Christian? Because if you are, then you have just defied a Christian ideal with your thoughts....
I'm not trying to put you down, I just don't think I get it totally....
The way you say it, you seem to have both Atheistic and Theological ideals.
Because, Mr. Nappy is right. If you look at divinity in a scientific way, then you aren't looking at divinity. LOL. You're looking at science. If you need science and reason to look at something, then you are not Christian. Christians believe what is in their book and that is all. They believe in blind, loyal faith. They say "if it is in the bi-bill, it is true." If you go against that then you are mixing atheism (science) with Theology (belief) and, thus, you have something else. Call me ignorant but I agree with Mr. Nappy. Sorry. LOL, lesse where this goes.

Post by Duke Mon Jul 02, 2007 11:16 pm

i see a point their... but why do i have to be a blind believer.

i find comfort in justifying my opinion. their is not total right or total left on this subject.

it is ignorance to say that your are atheistic or religous. the vast majority of the people in the world are in between.

it is absolute hipocracy to criticize my position if you cannot understand it, as it is yours (unless you blindly believe somthing, or blindly dont beleive it).

in fact, the only way you could'nt be in the same boat as me, would be if you NEVER thought about why you believed what you believe.

that my friend would be pure ignorance.

thats my opinion, tell me yours.

Ok, let's start with, I don't flame. There's a reason why I'm staff on a huge number of forums and you aren't, and had to join a free one to get that..As for this argument, I won't even bother. I notice you made a new thread instead of beating my other one. I wonder why? Probably because you have nothing to go against it..And it's useless arguing with someone who can't spell Einstein..or there..or can't capitalize an I..or at least keep person without capitals..I could continue but I'm bored. *Moves on*

Atheism v. Christianity. Empty Robert.

Post by Duke Tue Jul 03, 2007 11:04 pm

Robert, Robert, Robert...

You should know that the little things are not important. like spelling and all that, it proves nothing about the actual volumes of your knowledge. and i care nothing for being a moderator on any forums because i have a real life to attend to. and btw, i need no stats to convince myself of my worth to the world. but anyway, if you ever feel the need to settle who has the most persuasive all-around argument, i would love to confront your opinion on all playing fields (if you know what i mean) as their are many facets of deciding whose opinion carries the most weight.

I think i carry myself in a very proper and respectful way towards the scum i have to deal with on a day to day level. so please reciprocate.

Aceptance is an axiom of the learning process, you don't have to reach a councurrence with my theries on anything, merely accept that that is my opinion. I think that atheism is an affront to all natural programs, that everything has a cause and an affect.

I am slightly concerned with your perception of atheisim, it is the disbelief that their is any diety in the universe. I said that the universe had to have a catalyst - the "big bang" may be a catalyst, but it is not an self initiating catalyst. (this means that it did not start itself) at some lengthy termination of this chain of connecting causes, their is one single cause that has no cause of itself. I call this cause god, i find no better embodiment than christianity to represent this entity.

That said, i am thouroughly ammused at atheism's scientific argument, as science can in turn be use to explain a start - a divinity.

That is what i think, tell me what all of you think.

Duke.

If you're going to use words, spell them right. It makes you look even stupider than if you used a basic word. And ok, let's go onto a Christian v Atheism argument. And I'm sure that Diego would love to watch, so let's do it in IM where we can do it much faster and easier than a forum. AIM perhaps? Or MSN? We can do a group chat with Diego.

Post by GreenFX Wed Jul 04, 2007 7:02 pm

Here is one that is so stupid:

Remember in SW EP1? Where Qui-Gon Jinn (the hippy jedi) asks Ani's mom, "Who is Ani's father?"
And Ani's mom is like: "There is no father...."

DID SHE GET PREGNANT HERSELF?
WTF? HOW DO YOU GET PREGNANT YOURSELF? THAT IS ASEXUALITY! WAS SHE ASEXUAL? IF SHE WAS THEN THAT MEANS, SO WAS DARTH VADER! AND THEN THAT MEANS, LUKE IS ASEXUAL! OMG! IDIOTS.

One Taoist ideal is that you should never follow someone else's ideas. Don't believe Chirstianity because it sounds better than the rest. And I think Buddism fits your ideals better than Christianity does. But I think because you have only been exposed to Christianity, or because the majority of the world is Christian, you would rather be Christian instead of something else.

Sand People

Only referred to as so, these people travel in packs, covered in rags to disguise the fact that they are commies. For this reason are the only charcters in the star wars series to actually make use of guns with bullets. Jedi stay away from them, as lightsabers are unable to deflect such technology (This was a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away).

Warriors like Darth Ridiculous and Darth Hilarious use multicoloured sticks (Pez dispensers) to fight each other. While using their weapons, they make humming noises with their mouths, and usually the one who makes the most impressive noise wins the duel. The black guy dies in the third movie because his battlestick isn't blue like the others. Instead he has a purple one... obviously, this gives him a disadvantage: He was killed when he tried to usurp the throne of Darth Ridiculous because he forgot that purple<(red*blue)

Certain Religions are too boring maybe to you but each holds it's own ideal. Either you believe in one or not, that's just you >.>; Christianity though is getting to physical these days and losing it's touch, people are making raffles and game rooms in their church trying to get the youth of today to join, which of course STILL isnt' working.

Though it's like you the pot calling the kettle black Mule, your not helping your case at all either.

oh yeah, and by the way.

i did said that my opinion was the only one, and i strictly do not allow people to misconscrue my words. i actually said:

"thats my opinion, tell me yours"

i am horribly sorry that anyone would get the impression that i do accept other people's opinions. I believe that you learn by accepting other peoples opinions.

it takes an ignorant person to think that they will ever do anymore than make their opinions known when they say what they think. And it takes a pretty retarded person to edit posts thinking their post will not be edited in return.

Are you kidding me? We know each other too well to be nicer to one another, it just ain't possible.

Geez take me being nicer to you for example. If I were then you would swear that I was trying to get something out of you or I took something that make me awfully mellow. Or you could go with your rare comment "You finally got a boyfriend" which just pisses me off which in turn puts me back to being the "mean cow"

And now i'm rambling again.....

Plus this font is light enough! I'm not trying to hurt my eyes with those overly bright fonts, when your half asleep and posting at this time of night you don't need bright things just BLINDING you >.<
